Ugwumba Movement Worldwide Congratulates Newly Elected Imo State Correspondent Chapel Chairman
The Ugwumba Movement Worldwide has congratulated Mr Chinonso Alozie of the Vanguard Newspapers for emerging victorious at keenly contested election of Imo state correspondents’ chapel on Thursday 22nd February 2024 at the NUJ secretariat.

The organization added noted that the election of Mr Chinonso Alozie is no doubt because of the trust and capacity the chapel members have for him, adding that “his emergence as chairman is divinely orchestrated to serve his people.
The members of the organization therefore called on the newly elected Chairman of the Correspondents Chapel to live up above expectations.
‘We call on Chinonso Alozie to bring his wealth of experience and leadership qualities in propelling the chapel to serve the public better”
“We are not surprise that Alozie’s victory was expected following the recent announcement of his emergence as the winner of 2023 Investigative Journalist of the year, we believe in your capacity to galvanize the affairs of the chapel in accordance with ethics of journalism profession”
The members equally prayed for a successful tenure of Mr Chinonso Alozie and Executive members while assuring of their partnership going forward.
