Notorious Gangster Killed in Egbu ||| NEWS CORNER

Reports reaching News Corner Media has it that a suspected notorious gang leader who has been terrorising the people of Egbu, Owerri North local government area of Imo state, late Friday night met his Waterloo.

The suspect identified as Chibueze a.k.a “Solution” was said to be the leader of a notorious three-man gang, and the first son of his family in Ngwa area of Abia state.

According to eye witness report, “Solution” was caught shortly after snatching phone from a lady in the area late in the night.

The eye witness who spoke on anonymity disclosed that the suspect who is about 22-23 years, at the lady’s alarm took off with his cohorts when passersby gave them a hot chase.

Unfortunately, “he was the only one caught in the chase and on the arrival of operatives of Imo Security Network, he attempted to escape but was shot severally and he dropped dead along Hispacon, Egbu Owerri”, the eye witness said.

“Solution, has been a problem child to his family, stealling and doing illegal business so last night was his own judgement day”.

“He has been caught before in the act and was taken to his hometown to report to his kinsmen about his life style and will be killed if seen in Egbu again ,an that was how his light was blown out last night”, the eye witness concluded.

Efforts to reach the Imo State Police Spokesman, SP Orlando Godson Ikeokwu on call proved abortive as he did not return his calls nor reply to the message sent to him.
