Thumbs Up! Nwanguma Led Imo NUJ Records New Milestones
A distinguished Media and Public Affairs Analyst, Hon Sir Bright Okereke, with Kingsley Ozumba Mbadiwe University (KOMU), has expressed his endorsement over the unanimous Vote Of Confidence passed on the current executive of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), Imo State Council, under the Chairmanship of Comrade Ifeanyi Nwanguma, and therefore congratulates the enviable team.
He said, the vote of confidence on the Nwanguma led executive, further commends the team’s commitment, resourcefulness and resilience in driving the affairs of the Council.
The enviable feat, according to Sir Okereke, was occasioned by the Council’s recognition of the genuine and patriotic leadership competencies executive leading to the successful and timely submission of the State Council’s financial reports, its approval and commendations as being in line with the stipulations and regulations of the National Body.
According to him, “this great leadership milestone credits the Imo Council’s Chairman, Comrade Ifeanyi Nwanguma with the glorious appellations of a dependable leadership trustee with a high rating of transparency, inclusiveness, collaboration, innovation, accountability and decent records of excellent leadership performance and legacies.
“Comrade Nwanguma is a seasoned Journalist and principled Editor-in-chief of Starpost Express Newspaper. He is a polished Union leader with a robust team spirit.
“I sincerely commend Comrade Nwanguma’s tasteful leadership potentials and modest achievements in NUJ and other fora. We strongly recommend him and his team members for higher leadership responsibilities.”
