The Mazi Organization Sues For Peace And Unity, Cautions Against Run Him Down Syndrome By Detractors
+ Njoku Macdonald Obinna
Owerri, Imo State .
Following a calculated political onslaught targeted at causing division, commotion, and enemity among Owerri zone political elites and their prominent leaders; the recent which is the highly sponsored stories flying around on the internet by paid media herlings and hack writers engaged by rather jittery politicians to stop the govenrorship ambition of Dr. Chima Amadi (Mazi Gburugburu ); whose hurricane-like entrance into the Imo political arena is causing shivers as it sweeps across the various wards , communities, and LGAs in the state: necessitating a number of incitive, divisive, inflammatory remarks, , and fake press releases by those masquerading as leaders of Owerri people.
Given the exigency of the time; the fuss, and political hullabaloo emanating from such controversy and counter- productive approach adopted by these political detractors whose stock in trade is using sponsored propaganda, cheap blackmail, hate speech, and incitements to whittle down the growing popularity and influence of anyone whom they consider a big threat to their primordial agenda anchored on selfish aggrandizement; given vent to the State Co-ordinator of The Mazi Organization, Comrade Onwuegbucha Obioma Calistus, to call for unity and caution while urging members of the fast growing political movement to avoid “ Run Him Down Syndrome.“

In a press release by Onwuegbucha, State Coordinator of TMO, while addressing news men in Owerri, a copy which was made available to the Publisher of 4th Estate Reporters, Njoku Macdonald Obinna, he stated inter alia:
To the esteemed members of our communities, and LGA’s, and Owerri zone:
“ We are at a critical juncture in our collective history. Decades of marginalization and neglect by the government have left us with dilapidated institutions, a poor road network, and a sense of desperation. It is in this context that we must exercise extreme caution and restraint in our treatment of our own elites.
The “run him down syndrome” – where we vehemently criticize and attack our own leaders, often fueled by partisan interests or personal vendettas – must be rejected outright. This destructive phenomenon has plagued our communities for far too long, stifling progress and perpetuating division.
We must recognize that our elites, despite their flaws, are our own sons and daughters, brothers and sisters, who have chosen to serve our community. They are not the enemy. The real enemy is the systemic neglect and marginalization that has held us back for so long.

We must also acknowledge that the actions of a few unscrupulous youths, often used by politicians to attack the ambitions of others, are a symptom of a larger problem. These youths are not the problem; they are a product of our collective failure to provide opportunities and guidance.
To our politicians, we say: stop using our youths as pawns in your game of power. Stop fueling the “run him down syndrome” with your rhetoric and actions. Instead, work together to build a better future for our community.
To our elites, we say: do not be discouraged by the criticisms and attacks. Instead, use them as an opportunity to reflect on your actions and to improve. Remember that you are servants of our community, and that your actions must be guided by our collective interests.
To our communities , we say: let us unite in our pursuit of progress and development. Let us reject the “run him down syndrome” and instead focus on building each other up. Let us create a culture of constructive criticism and feedback, rather than destructive attacks and criticisms.“
Together, we can build a brighter future for ourselves and for generations to come, he noted.
Funny enough, in the last two days since the trio of Okenze (Hon.) Sir Blyden Amajirionwu, KSM, Cajetan Duke, and Uchechukwu Nelson Nwosu, Ph.D, resigned their official positions and membership of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Imo State to join the govenrorship project of Dr. Chima Amadi; the Imo media space has been awash with a series of sponsored stories and alleged political attacks to derail this move: which keen observers of Imo politics have maintained is targeted at diffusing the growing popularity of Mazi Gburugburu, who is gradually becoming the new conservation in the Imo political matrix.
