Hon Kingsley Uju Meets NEMA, Others Over Flooding, Insecurity in S’East …Reassures Constituents of Better Days

In order to contain Flooding and Insecurity in the South East particularly Imo State, the member representing Ohaji/Egbema/Oguta/Oru West Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Honourable Chima Kingsley Uju, says he had met with the National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA and other Concerned Relevant Agencies of Government.
Uju disclosed this cheering tidings while having an audience with members of Niger Delta Media Forum, NDMF, at his residence, Umuorji, Ohaji Egbema, Imo State, on Sunday.
The outspoken Lawmaker who has been effectively representing the people while interfacing with them, said he would always work cordially with relevant agencies to ensure that Flooding and Insecurity are tackled headlong so that safety, peace and good living will always be the hallmark of the people of the South East especially his constituency.
“Few days ago, I went to NEMA and other relevant bodies, telling them to come and rescue our people from Flooding and Insecurity. Even as a House Committee Deputy Chairman on Procurement, I have Bills and Motions which are geared to solve the problems of our society and impact their lives meaningfully”.

“I will not hesitate to work with any individual who has positive ideas to lift our constituency and I shall always speak the mind of my people and their welfare. I assure you that roads, water, school, electricity, women and youths empowerment will continue to be impacted on so that we forge ahead”, Uju maintained.
The Super Philanthropist, while reassuring his people of his sterling effort to ensure they have good living and sound health, urged them to continue to be law- abiding to have better days, debunking rumors against him which bother on financial recklessness at both ADAPALM and ISOPADEC.
He identified the rumors as unfounded, cheap blackmail from mischievous elements who were bent on tarnishing his good image and reputation while calling on the good people of Imo to always disregard their rumors, noting that he sacrificed hugely to pay salaries of workers of ISOPADEC and will always support every good policy of government to move Imo forward.
Honourable Uju, however, reaffirmed his love and firm commitment for the journalists of Imo State Niger Delta, advising them to keep on using their Pen to add to the economic and social advancement of the society.
In their remarks and vote of thanks, Chairman of NDMF, Chukwuemeka Ike and Basil Ogbuji, an Elder to the Forum, appreciated Hon Chima Kingsley Uju for his love, chivalry on his people, remaking that his good deeds and quality representation cannot be over- emphasized, praying that God keeps strengthening him as he does wonders.
Recall that Honourable Uju, before becoming a Rep Member, had at the instance of the previous government, provided succour to Flood Victims at the Niger Delta region of Imo State to palliatively cushion their serious problems.
Those previous years were witnessed with adverse flood that claimed many lives and ravaged many households with aquatic beings and farm products being destroyed by the scourging flood but with the assistance of Honourable Kingsley Chima Uju, their suffering were alleviated
