Special Report: BFBF August Meeting Sensitization On Drug Abuse, Rape, Human trafficking Records Success
The 2022 August Meeting Sensitiztion/Awareness Creation Campaign of the Balm For The Bruised Foundation (BFBF) in some selected towns of towns of Anambra state has been concluded amidst success stories and sense of satisfaction.

The Programme which kick-started on 4th August with the train moving to Umuoba Anam in Anambra East LGA. At Umuoba Anam, was specially received by the Women and granted some minutes talk with them.
The Balm For the Bruised Foundation team told them about the organization’s vision and mission as well as her roles in the country as social agents of change and goodness, while enlightening them on what they need to know about hard drugs/illicit substances, with emphasis on the trending Methamphetamine(Mkpulu Mmili) malady among our youths.

The team also highlighted marijuana, heroine, tramadol, rubber solution, alcohol among others as they informed the people about the consumption pattern, abuse and the pitiable immediate and long-term effects of these bio-harmful/phsycho-toxic substances.
They also informed them about BFBF’s Rehabilitation Services for drug addicts and for victims of social abuses like rape, human trafficking, stigmatization due to HIV/other diseases, battering, among notable others.
To foster desired engagements with the general public, the Sensitization team gave out contacts to the women so that they can easily reach out to the organization and vice versa when needed.
In view of th above, the BFBF Team urged them to carry the message given to them back to their homes, churches, markets, villages, etc, and to book for more services of the organization.
According to the Team Leader of the August meeting sensitization programme, Ben Ogboh, the same scenario was repeated in Aguleri same day and continually at Nando, Nsugbe on 5th and 8th August respectively while conquering other grassroot August meeting points during the season across Anambra state.
