SMFest 2022 Conference Will Instill Positive Values in Youths –Convener

The Convener of Social Media Fest (SMFest) 2022 global, annual conference, Ajah Excel, says the conference, which holds at Landmark Events Centre, beside Protea Hotels, New Owerri, on 22nd of October, 2022, is driven to create a physical space for an army of young persons on social media, to utilize the forum to advance diverse creativities in the technological industry and other careers, as well as reinforces positive values as a strategy for combating crime and deviance behaviors for a better society that will accommodate all persons.
He stated this when he addressed journalists during a briefing in Owerri last week.
He added that SMFest has the mission to build a community of creatives who maximize technology to grow productivity, visibility and influence, thereby reducing deviant behaviors across the country.

Ajah noted that “SMFest is a global, annual conference that brings the best and brightest minds in the world together. It is a platform that teaches its audience how to leverage the power of technology, social media and innovation to advance their businesses, brands and causes by providing ideas, exposure and insights that help people and businesses to understand how to explore all the advantages of digitalization”.
Disclosing that this year’s conference will be the “2nd instalment in a series of national impactful technology ecosystem events”, Ajah reflected that the “maiden edition gave birth to a platform for change in the narratives of Imo State – an innovation strategy and tactical event that seek to transform Owerri into an innovative, bustling city through social media and technology”.
Ajah, who mentioned that participants are expected across Africa, added that the event will have “3 keynotes, 2 panels, 1 fireside chat and 3 workshop sessions to be facilitated by veteran industry experts like Obinna Ukachukwu (senior bank executive), Mr. Ugochukwu Omeugo (founder, merignos consulting and mentoring ltd and former consultant, Joseph consulting), Chukwuemeka Emmanuel (award winning skit maker, aka Sabinu), Nelly Agbogu (naija brand chic), Chioma Ifeanyi Eze (accounting hub nig), Jude Umeanor (founder, Nigeria bitcoin community) and Emeka Nobis (founder, switchpath consulting).
