As the Supreme Court had pronounced that the Five Years Ban on the Commissioner of Justice and Attorney General of Imo State, Barr. COC Akaolisa, by the Legal Practitioners Disciplinary Committee had no basis and was uncalled for, a group operating under the aegis of Owerri Zone Niger Delta Forum (OZNDF), had profoundly congratulated the Commissioner.
The group said the judgement was a true reflection of justice and a good mark for democratic system and good governance which it added are eminently shaping the country positively.

Reacting to the verdict, having arose from a stakeholders meeting over the weekend, the Leader of OZNDF, Hon. Okereke Godson Bishop, said the victory of Barr. COC Akaolisa was a clear testament that he is a purpose-driven human, who is always focused and very keen in delivering his duties.
“Youths of Owerri Niger Delta Owerri Forum profoundly congratulate Chief Barr. C.O.C., Akaolisa, the two-time Commissioner of Justice and Attorney General of Imo State, on his meritorious victory in the Supreme Court judgment that exempted him from the Legal Practitioners Disciplinary Committee’s five-year ban over alleged misconduct.

“This victory testifies that the Orsu born salient breed and silent achiever is indeed purpose-driven, focused and keen on delivering his assigned duties even judiciously. No doubt, Akaolisa is distinguished as the Commissioner of Justice and Attorney General because he has contributed richly to the success of the Shared Prosperity Government and the forwardness of Imo State.
“As a foundation member of Camp Hope, he remains calm and committed in delivering assignments given by His Excellency, Senator Hope Uzodimma, the Governor of Imo State, across all facets of his administration. He has demonstrated prowess in winning all cases under his watch as Commissioner of Justice and Attorney General of Imo State.
“Recognized as a human capital developer, youth builder and capacity empowerment leader, Akaolisa is always positioned for positive outcomes”, Okereke maintained.
He assured the continued support to the Commissioner of Justice and Attorney General.
