Seek God’s Mercy Against Coronavirus, Amakaeze Enjoins Christian Faithfuls

The General Overseer, Community of Hashem Worlwide, Kohen Gadol Chidi Enyinnaya Amakaeze has enjoined his congregants to seek God’s mercy against coronavirus pandemic so that the killer virus stops forever.

Enyinnaya, said the trying period for the whole world calls for sober reflection by people of the earth with total repentance and submission to God Almighty who heals.

Enyinnaya stated this when he delivered a lecture on “Prevention of Coronavirus Pandemic”, during the celebration of Feast of New Moon, on 19th March, 2020, at High Tabernacle Nnobi, Anambra State.

In his introduction to the address to the congregation, the Kohen Gadol sang: “in the face of the tempting storm, Lord HaShem, give us strength to bear, all our days defend our cause, O Lord hear our cry for help against coronavirus pandemic”.

He reflected that “in pursuant to the Torah which states that the Priest shall address the people of God in times of crisis and tribulations ( Deuteronomy 20:2-4)”, stating that “amidst our confusion in the face of Covid-19 and its manifestation as coronavirus, I wish to educate the members of our community that our various governments are right in taking decisive action for quarantine and shutdown of shops and civil service where necessary. This, if blessed by God, will go a long way to curtail the spread of coronavirus pandemic”.

According to Enyinnaya, “King Solomon was inspired to tell us that there is nothing new under the sun. To this, the search of the Book of the Prophets revealed as follows: come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers and shut thy doors about thee; hide thyself for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast. For, behold, HaShem cometh forth out of His place to visit upon the inhabitants of the earth their iniquity, the earth also shall disclose her blood and shall no more cover her slain (Isaiah 26:20&21)”.

The servant of HaShem further admonished his faithful that “this time calls for sober reflection on two levels. The physical which the government has issued order for people to go inside and shut their doors and the spiritual level which brings into recognition that coronavirus pandemic is a plague from God, regardless of the human theories just as the verse says: The Earth Fainteth and Fadeth Away, the World Faileth and Fadeth Away, the Lofty People of the Earth do Fail. The Earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, violated the statute, broken the everlasting covenant.

“Therefore, hath a curse devoured the earth and they that dwell therein are found guilty; therefore the inhabitants of the earth waste away and men are left few (Isiah 24:4-6)”.

“In Egypt”, he continued, “Pharaoh thought that the plague was from Moses, but his magicians and advisers warned him saying: this is the finger of God’ (Exodus 8:19). Though the world may blame China for originating coronavirus pandemic, but the plague may have originated from there, or that the virus originated from controversies of Bio- warfare/chemical weaponry as being propounded, but our faith teaches that it is God who does all things, just as the verse says: see now that I, even I, am He, and there is no god with Me; I kill, and I make alive; I have wounded, and I heal and there is none who can deliver out of My hand. (Deuteronomy 32:39)”.

Enyinnaya, therefore, enjoined people to obey instructions and be safe “at this time of lockdown, curfews and quarantine, go into your house, shut the door and reflect on the anger of the Lord which has visited the world. Let us understand that sin is the transgression, breaking and opposition to the law of God, (see 1st John 3:4) and discard all false doctrines which purport that the Laws of God have been abrogated. This physical and spiritual quarantine will enable us to understand that the grass withereth, the flower fadeth, but the word of our God shall stand for ever (Isaiah 40:8). So that we may at all times trust in HaShem forever, for HaShem is GOD, an everlasting Rock. (Isaiah 26:4)”.

“Our Father in Heaven.
You are the Lord of all creatures and creation. We bring before you all mankind and nations. We plead for Your mercy in our world. Father, please have mercy on us and be merciful unto your children. Please withdraw Your wrath of CoronaVirus. May it be your will to decree its expiration and extinction. May your healing flow to all nations and affected persons. Please hear our prayers seeking for your protection.
For in Your Mighty Name we pray. Amen”, Enyinnaya prayed.

While supplicating for God’s mercy on mankind, an active member of the Community of HaShem Worldwide, Ambassador Chika Uju, appreciated Kohen Gadol Chidi Enyinnaya Amakaeze for praying for the world against coronavirus pandemic that threatens the whole world.
