Reasons For Nigeria’s Collapse Like Many Other Great Countries — Onwuasoanya FCC Jones
Nations collapse when leaders fail to heed clear warning signs. No nation ever collapses suddenly, the warning signs are always there, sometimes, for ages. It is the attitude that “nothing dey happen” that most times trigger fires of violent revolutions.
Sycophants and court jesters of despotic regimes always make the political leadership believe that they are impregnable. They assure the government and their heads that they will easily quash any “rebellion”. But, history shows that even the world’s strongest armies have had been defeated by a revolt from the people.
As a businessman, I am one of the last persons that would want a violent disturbance, because I know how much it is going to affect my businesses, but I am also aware that all the signs of a nation about to descend into serious chaos are very present in our nation today.
Nigerians have endured too many troubles for too long, and most of them were already boiling for war, but with a promise of a free and fair election enabled by electronic transmission of results, most of them directed their anger to the polling votes and voted for the candidates they trusted would reform the nation.

Unfortunately, their hope of achieving a peaceful revolution through the ballot box has been dashed in a most brazen and annoying way. They have been left with no other option but to resort to self-help. I do not know how more they can endure this affront on their sensibilities as citizens, but I know that it will take some miracle for it to be delayed for a longer period.
I am Onwuasoanya FCC Jones, I will keep praying for Nigeria’s survival
