Okereke Bishop Salutes Onuegbu’s Leadership Acumen …As He Chairs Commissioning Of Umuezeala ICT Centre

An erudite scholar and patriotic Imo indigene, Hon. Okereke Godson Bishop, has saluted the Commissioner of Lands, Survey and Physical Planning, Barr. Enyinna Onuegbu, as he chairs the commissioning of Umuezeala ICT Center and the presentation of a Book titled “History of Umuezeala Kindred in Amato Alike Obowo”.

The event is billed to be held on April 19, 2025, at Umuezeala Amato Alike in Obowo Local Government Area of Imo State, at 1100am.

Speaking in Owerri on Monday, Okereke said Onuegbu, who has been profoundly friendly, deserves every respect and accolade by the people of Imo State, who he added, cherish and value goodness, substances and good leadership.

Okereke, a former Special Adviser to the Governor, the Leader of Owerri Zone Niger Delta Forum, a progressive- minded fellow, an APC stalwart, a strong advocate of fair democracy and a richly committed apostle of the Shared Prosperity Government, championed by a scintillating leader, Governor Hope Uzodimma, described Barr. Enyinna Onuegbu as a man of the people who contributes significantly towards the growth and success of Imo State and the APC.

“Barr. Enyinna Onuegbu, the Commissioner of Lands, Survey and Physical Planning, an illustrious son of Ngor-Okpala LGA and a selfless politician, who has been contributing immensely towards the progress, success, and development of Imo State, is very delighted to chair the commissioning of Umuezeala ICT Center and the presentation of a Book titled “History of Umuezeala Kindred in Amato Alike Obowo, ably sponsored by Mayor, Aguh Theodore who happens to be the Mayor of Umuezeala Amato Alike Kingdom.

“This privileged honour is due largely to his value for goodness, peace, fair politics, governance and purposeful leadership, which are instrumental to the tranquility and development prevalent in Imo State. As the head of Political Bureau, to the Governor and subsequently the Commissioner of Lands, Governor Hope Uzodimma is very visionary to have chosen him as part of his cabinet even since his inception into the governorship throne of Imo State”, Okereke reflected.

However, the occasion will be graced by people of substance, including government officials, lawmakers, traditional rulers, among who are Hon. Chike Okafor, who represents Ehime Mbano/Ihitte-Uboma/Obowo Federal Constituency in the House of Reps, RT. Hon. Kennedy Ibe, who represents Obowo State Constituency in the Imo Sate House of Assembly, Hon. Chimezie Amadi, the Commissioner for Digital Economy and E-Government and Dr. Emeka Mandela Ukaegbu, Commissioner of Youths.

The Royal Father of the Day is Eze Micheal Ogbonna (Oha Choro 11, of Amato Alike Obowo LGA), who will lead other Royal Highnesses and Engr. Ken Chima Anyanwu, the Crown Prince of Ndiuhu Kingdom, will also grace the event alongside his business partners.

“We therefore, utilize this opportunity to invite all people of goodwill to come and witness the gathering of Umuezeala in Obowo LGA”, he added.
