As the drums for 2019 Imo guber election sounds high as to who the governorship crown fits, the people of the state has continue to look out for the best candidate.

In view of the foregoing, the profile of the Imo born politician cum investment expert, Sir Okey Eze in a press release by his media aide, Collins Opuruozor reveals that he is the only qualified and prepared governorship candidate to save the good people of the state from the crunches of economic downturn and bad governance having being tested and trusted with numerous international leadership positions.

Mr. Opuruozor said time has come for Imolites to go for a core professional and established entrepreneur as Governor and urged them to vote for Okey Eze for a holistic rebirth of the state.

“Okey Eze is a man that has abiding faith in competence, credibility, merit, erudition, and in God certainly will rebuild Imo and restore its lost glory”, he added.

The release in full states that :

1.Okey Eze is an accomplished writer, poet, journalist, banker, publisher, entrepreneur and philanthropist.

2. The best-graduating student in Mass Communication, UNN, 1991.

3. An MBA holder, UNIBEN, 1998.

4. Has rich banking experience of 15 years with a leading multinational bank, Citibank, rising to senior managerial cadre.

5. Is the Chairman of Savvycorp Limited, involved in treasury management, financial and investment advisory.

6. His company, in 2006, became the first in Nigeria to secure franchise from European Armoured Trucks Bureau of the Netherlands to introduce secure armoured Cash-in-Transit transport for Nigerian banks and it was as a result of this pioneering effort that set the stage for the authorities to make armoured transportation compulsory for CIT operations of all Nigerian Banks in 2007.

7. Is also the Executive Chairman of Marvel Turf Limited.

8. He is the Executive Chairman of the Okechukwu Theodore Ezeh Foundation, which has trained over 5,000 persons in various vocations, certified them, equipped them with start-up capital and machinery; built classroom blocks in schools, trained undergraduates of nineteen tertiary institutions on self-discovery and development, and distributed modern learning facilities to them.
