Oguta Local Government Set To Witness Fresh Breath As Hon Richard Ugochukwu Ottih Joins Chairmanship Race

Hon. Richard Ugochukwu Ottih is from a reputable family in Awa autonomous community in Oguta local government area of imo state.
His background shaped him into a young vibrant man with dynamic features who have proved his versatility, in business, politics, entrepreneurship, leadership and community service. Over the years he has been able to sponsor empowerment programmes in Oguta local government, where children, youths and women are beneficiaries.
His generousity in supporting community projects, maintaining peace and order in the community can never be overemphasized while he always ensure that his people join the mainstream government to enable them benefits from system.
As Imo state is preparing to conduct local government Chairman and Councilorship election on September 21st, Hon. Richard Ugochukwu Ottih has joined in the race for Oguta local government chairmanship seat under APC party where he purchased his expression of interest form.
The antecedents of Hon. Ottih as a private business man and agriculturist who have invested millions in farming, poultry, shows that he understands the challenges of the bad economy, youth unemployment as well knows how to provide solutions.
He has assured the people of his commitment to service, accountability, total emancipation, transparency, equity and justice while he will channel his knowledge and experience in building a robust economy and developing tourism in their oil rich community.
During his interview with journalists in owerri at the APC party state secretariat recently Hon. Richard Ugochukwu Ottih reiterated that he can achieve more for Oguta people if he is elected as the local government council chairman adding that he has been contributing his quota for the local government as an individual.

According to him,” I only want to compliment the effort of the Governor Sen. Hope Uzodinma through agricultural revolution, schools rehabilitations and infrastructural development. The 3R mantra of the state government will be the bedrock of our programme in Oguta local government, our communities are now enjoying relative peace courtesy of the shared prosperity administration and I will continue in that direction.
“Through the office of the special adviser to the governor on youth affairs we organized 5days training for our youths on agriculture.
“My administration will protect the interest of the youths and women because they are usually the victims of bad leadership, and in a delicate environment like Oguta local government their welfare should be a prerogative.
Furthermore, he urged leaders from Oguta to support youth governance and which he said will help in reducing youth restiveness, criminality, banditry and drug abuse while expressing confidence in his capacity to win the party primary election and chairman seat.
