Odenigbo Ndi Igbo Gburu Gburu Initiative Honours Distinguished Members as they Celebrate Annual Get-together

A foremost Igbo socio-cultural group Odenigbo Ndi Igbo Worldwide Initiative on the Friday 10th January 2025 converged in owerri the capital city of Imo state to celebrate the second edition of their annual get-together party and to honour some of their members who have dedicated their time and resources in service to the association and society at large.
One of the awardees based in Belgium, Ezenwanyi Chinyereugo who was conferred as the “queen mother ” of Odenigbo Ndigbo worldwide Initiative expressed uttermost gratitude for the recognition stressing that the award represent her commitment, selfless service, leadership.
According to her, odenigbo ndi Igbo is a worldwide organization that examplify the true spirit of ndigbo, who advocate for peace and progress while bringing together reputable sons and daughters of ndigbo across the globe to promote cum preserve the rich Igbo cultural heritage.
She further admonished Igbo indigens to unite where ever they reside and commit themselves to uplifting one another in order to impact on the generation unborn.

Also speaking, His Royal Highness Igwe Charles Anietu patron of Odenigbo ndi Igbo worldwide encouraged Igbos in diaspora not to forget
“Igbo culture is the best and we must also remember that there is no place like home no matter where we go”, he said.

Earlier in his address, the president general Odenigbo ndi Igbo worldwide initiative High chief Obinna Nwaneri noted that despite all the challenges, their members gathered from different countries of the world to celebrate their shared resilience and remarkable achievement.
” Odenigbo ndi Igbo world wide initiative is a movement, our achievements reflect our commitment to progress, unity, and service. One of our significant milestone is the acquisition of landed property in Asaba, Delta state, we have also engaged in meaningful charitable effort by providing assistance to communities in need, such as supporting the Mmiata Anam flood victims during their time of crisis, building a house for a homeless widow in rivers state”.
He further revealed that their focus is on selecting members who prioritize community service over personal gains and called on individuals who share their vision of service to join the movement.
