NUJ South East Holds ZEC Meeting, Inaugurates Imo Council Executives
The Leadership of Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, South East (Zone C) is set to hold its Zonal Executive Council (ZEC) meeting in Imo state on Saturday, 22nd November, 2025.
According to a release signed by the NUJ Zonal Secretary, Comrade Emmanuel Irem, the zonal leadership will at the programme conduct election for Imo NUJ as well as inaugurate new executive members for the Council.
“NUJ Zonal Executive Council, ZEC, meeting for Zone C, has been scheduled to hold in Owerri, Imo State Council this November, 2025.
“Arrival: 21st November, 2025.
ZEC Meeting: 22nd November, 2025
Departure: 23rd November, 2025.
“We shall use the opportunity to attend the election/inauguration of the Imo Council Chairman and his executive members on the 22nd of November 2025”, the release added.
The NUJ National President, Alhassan Yahya, the Zonal Vice President, Zonal Secretary and All NUJ National Officers from the zone alongside NAWOJ Zonal Vice Chairperson and Secretary as well as all NUJ Chairmen and Secretaries from the zone are expected at the far-reaching decisions meeting.
