Revenue: IMSAA Meets With LGA IMC Chairmen, Solicits Support
ThankGod Emeh, OWERRI.

Imo Signage and Advertisement Agency, IMSAA has met with the Interim Management Committee(IMC) Chairmen of the 27 local government councils in the state to solicit for their support on signage and outdoor advertising revenue drive across the state.
According to a press release issued by the Director of Corporate Affairs & Human Resources of the agency, Micheal Onuoha, the Agency interfaced with the leaders of the local government councils recently in Owerri, Imo State capital during their weekly meeting.
The release added that the General Manager and Chief Executive Officer of IMSAA, Honourable Chibuzor Umunnakwe while speaking at the event disclosed that the meeting with the Chairmen was a critical step by the Agency to further get it right in the revenue drive objective of IMSAA.
“Working in harmony with the IMC Chairmen would yield greater dividends than otherwise”, he said.

Hon. Umunnakwe noted that IMSAA had earlier written individually to the IMC Chairmen and that meeting them as a group was a good opportunity to deepen the Agency’s desire to work in consultation with them.
He made a strong plea for their support so that the Agency would generate the desired level of signage and outdoor advertising revenue in their various areas of jurisdiction.
Some of the IMC Chairmen who spoke during the meeting thanked IMSAA GM, Hon. Umunnakwe, management and staff for extending hand of comradeship to them and expressed willingness to cooperate with the Agency while requesting for further engagement with the IMC Chairmen individually given the peculiarities of the different local government councils in the state.
It will be recalled that IMSAA was established in December 2019 to manage, regulate and control the signage and outdoor advertising environment in Imo State.
This mandate includes but not limited to regulation and control of placement of billboards and other outdoor signs, signages in business outlets, brand activations and events, temporary signs, and mobile advertisement, among others.
