NUJ South East Commends Gov. Uzodimma on Imo at 50 Celebration

The leadership of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, South East (Zone C), has commended Imo State Governor, Sen. Hope Uzodimma, for his insightful and remarkable leadership, while hailing Imolites for their good and supportive followership over the years, which has birthed dreams of interest amid peace and harmony.
The Vice President of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) South East Zone, Comrade Ezenwa Adiuku JP (Chinaetugo), in a release issued in solidarity with the state’s anniversary, emphasized that the occasion is an eminent one to globally celebrate the Imo people for their resilience, human capacity, patriotism, and other remarkable contributions to national development.
“On behalf of the leadership and members of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), South East Zone, I heartily congratulate the Government and good people of Imo State on the auspicious occasion of the State’s 50th Anniversary.
“The last fifty years of Imo State’s existence reflect resilience, cultural richness, human capacity, and remarkable contributions to national development.
Comrade Adiuku however thanked Governor Uzodinma for piloting a media-friendly, open-door administration that has not only transformed the state but also placed it as a state on the rise of shared economic prosperity since his assumption.
“We specially felicitate His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma, Governor of Imo State, for his purposeful leadership and commitment to the peace, unity, and development of the State as it marks this golden jubilee milestone.
“Under your stewardship, Imo State continues to witness renewed focus on infrastructure, security, institutional reforms, and inclusive governance, rekindling hope for a more prosperous future.
“As journalists and partners in nation-building, the Nigeria Union of Journalists, South East, acknowledges the supportive environment your administration has provided for the media to carry out its constitutional role in informing, educating, and holding society together.
Comrade Adiuku equally prayed for Governor Uzodimma’s continued zeal to lead Imo through .
“We pray that this golden jubilee celebration ushers in a new era of greater progress, unity, and sustainable development for Imo State. May the years ahead bring more peace, prosperity, and enduring legacies of good governance.
