Chief Njoku Appointed New Coordinator for IIJ Owerri Study Centre
A seasoned journalist and researcher, Chief Ken Njoku has been appointed the coordinator for the International Institute of Journalism (IIJ) Owerri Study Centre.

The Imo State Council Chairman of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Chief Chris Akaraonye who confirmed Chief Njoku’s appointment in a letter dated June 14, 2022, and signed by the registrar of the Institute Mr. Afolabi Olusola in a release stressed that the appointment is sequel to the unfortunate death of the former coordinator Chief Ndudi Nnadi.

Chief Ken Njoku
It is recalled that Mr. Njoku has been a resource person/lecturer with IIJ, Owerri Study Centre for about Fifteen years, he possesses a Masters degree in mass communication and he is a member of the Nigeria Union of
Journalists as well as the Nigerian Guild of Editors.
He served with the Imo Newspaper Corporation Publishers of Statesman Newspapers and rose to the position of editor in Chief and General Manager of the Corporation before his retirement.
