NRM Candidate For Orlu Zone Senatorial Election, Uwaezuoke Condemns Attack on INEC Head Office in Imo
The candidate of National Rescue Movement (NRM) Party for Orlu Senatorial zone election on Tuesday 13th December condemned the attack and destruction of facilities at the Imo State headquarters of Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Owerri by hoodlums.
Uwaezuoke who expressed concern over the spate of attacks on INEC facilities in recent times, stressed that the development has overbearing negative consequences on its preparations for the 2023 General Election.
He however commended the security Agents for their Quick response and actions to abort the mission of the miscreants.
The learned gentleman added that, “We will continue to support INEC and the security agencies to ensure that peaceful elections are held and recorded all over Nigeria”
He also pleaded on Nigerian youths to engage themselves in meaningful things that will help them and the nation other than involve in distortions of our Nation”
“Those that lost their lifes in this attack are youths who are supposed to help in building a better nation where their fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters and children will leave peaceful and happily”.

“Youths are the hope of the nation, no matter what, Come let’s build a better nation by voting for the best Candidates come 2023, candidates who will provide us with jobs, security, power etc, and not those who are after their own selfish reasons/interest”
Uwaezuoke said that one of his agenda is youths empowerment and youths Development, where youths will have the chance to engage in meaningful ventures as well as participating responsibly in politics to enable them change the ugly narrative about them.
He also pleaded with the Federal government for the release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu pointing out that almost all the video clips he has watched, the boys always talk about his release hence he queried: “who will have his brother in uncomfortable situations for over years now and he will be comfortable?
The erudite scholar pleads to those in authority to do something on Kanu’s release.
He stressed that together we will build a better nation where everyone will have sense of belonging.
