Okey Ezeh Flags Off Campaign, assures Anew Imo

The Gubernatorial candidate of the Social Democratic Party, SDP in Imo State, Sir Okey Eze has been described as the credible alternative to salvage the state from its dead situation.
The Imo SDP Chairman, Mr. Ogbuehi Amaefili, party faithfuls and the good people of the state stated this at the flag-off campaign ceremony of Okey Ezeh on 7 January, 2019 at the Dan Anyim Stadium Owerri.
Mr. Amafili said the party is set to change the face and fortune of imo state.
He stressed that it is high time to put smiles on the faces of Imolites adding that the cry of the people to God for good governance in the state has been answered through the SDP and its guber candidate, Okey Ezeh.
Speaking on the triumphant entry of Okey Ezeh on a horse said the party is poised to ride onto victory and will not rest until victory is achieved at the polls.


Also at the event, the Ideato North SDP Chairman and the Chairman of all the LGA Chairmen in Imo State, Chief Raymond Egenti extolled the party leadership and party faithfuls for making the credible choice of Sir Eze as their guber candidate.
He disclosed that the guber battle lies only between the SDP and other parties and urged them to vote in SDP at all levels.

The National Youth Leader of the party, Hon. Stanley Nwaka who welcome the dignitaries and members of the party said the gathering was aimed at re-echoing the ripe time to rebuild Imo state.
He decried the fallen standard of governance and operations in Imo as regards education and employment adding that the candidacy of Sir Okey Ezeh is the credible alternative.

“It is for this reason that we are gathered here to put and end to familiocracy with Sir Okey Eze”, he said.
Also speaking at the occasion, the Chief of Staff to the Deputy National Chairman of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, Dr. Olu Aguloyo who disclosed that he was on two mandate to the event added that the Imo SDP guber flag bearer is sound and promising in all ramification.
He urged Imolites to look out for competent, credible and compassionate leaders who will deliver to them anew Imo of their dreams.
Handing over the party flag to Sir Okey Ezeh, the National Chairman, Dr. Olu Falaye who was represented by the Organizing Secretary of the party, Hon. Emeka Atuma said nobody aside Okey Ezeh can competently end bad governance in the state and put smiles on the peoples face.
“Nobody else is more competent to ride the house to the Douglas House and to end bad governance in Imo State than Okey Ezeh”, Hon. Atuma stated.
He decried the mistakes of Imolites in the past in electing incompetent leaders but thanked the people for coming out en masse to show their support for anew Imo state while assuring them that their cries has been heard and answered.
“Time has past when people match to INEC offices to have their victory announced, nobody will short change you again.” he said.
“When SDP takes over Imo state, there will be a transformed and reformed Imo state”.
On receiving the party flag, Sir Okey Ezeh said it is high time the liberation and emancipation of the state.
He aded that the SDP is the only credible party to deliver the aspirations of the people hence his unalloyed candidacy.
“An SDP government will rebuild Imo and put smiles on the faces of Imolites”
“Come 29 May 2019, we are going to bring on board first government. SDP is the light, we will lead and show the way”, he assured.
The Deputy Chairman Imo SDP, Mr. Ben Onochie who appreciated all for their support to the success of the event, urged them to vote SDP in all the various elective positions and prayed for journey mercies.
The Event which featured road shows by different support groups was graced by party faithfuls and candidates across the country including the Abia state governorship flag bearer of SDP, Hon. Mrs Blessing Nwagba.
