A front line aspirant for the federal House of Representatives seat for Njaba, Isu, Nkwerre and Nwangele federal constituency on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, Mrs Queen Chinyere Opurum has promised to continue to salvage humanity if elected to serve her people
She said, she has already started empowering her people before now with tangible paliatives, and skills to enable them stand strong using her personal resources and would replicate same if elected into the government.
She stated on the Friday, 14th of May 2026 while addressing news men in Owerri as an off-shoot of the recently concluded stakeholders’ meeting with Governor Hope Uzodinma.
Queen-Opurum expressed confidence in her chances of emerging victorious in the APC primary, stressing that the governor’s assurance of a transparent and credible process has strengthened the confidence of aspirants.
She hailed Governor Uzodinma for insisting that the party’s rules and democratic procedures be strictly followed during the primary election.

“I commend Governor Hope Uzodinma for assuring all aspirants that the primary election will be conducted in a free, fair, and transparent manner in line with the guidelines of our great party, the APC.” she noted
The business woman turned politician said she remains hopeful about her victory, due to her overwhelming grassroots support across her constituency, particularly in Nwangele Local Government Area.
“I am fully persuaded and positive for the primary election, and sure of victory if the process is free and fair. The people, especially those from Nkwerre, and Nwangele Local Government Areas, have continued to show me massive support during my consultations and visits across the constituency,” she stated.
Queen-Opurum further highlighted her empowerment and community development programmes, adding that she has consistently supported her people with her personal efforts.
“I have been empowering my people as a private individual. With the support and platform of government, I will do more and improve the lives of my people,” she stated.
