2023 Imo West Senatorial Election: Prof. Uwaezuoke Is The Man To Beat –Group

The Association of Umori Eziachi daughters known as Umuada Erim in Orlu LGA recently endorsed their brother Prof. Chief Stephen CY Uwaezuoke to represent Imo West in the forthcoming election at the red chamber.

The Distinguished Senator in making, a greenhorn in politics running under the platform of National Rescue Mission Party, NRM which is also new based on His antecedent at home and diaspora, vow to vote for competence, honesty as character matters for if elected he will salvage the youths of the zone by creating a meaningful employment for thousands of the youths roaming on the street.

Speaking further through the president of the association, Lady. Chikodi A. Onumajuru stressed that equity, justice and fairness favours Prof. Uwaezuoke to represent Imo West as nobody from Isu Clan has been on that seat since inception of democracy.

Lady Onumajuru emphasized that dividends of Democracy have been eluding people from the area while decrying that the previous senators did not fare well as people’s interests have not been represented.

“As women of peace, with Uwaezuoke at the red chamber, the issue of security will be tackled just as all unfunctional departments in the zone that brings pains, agony to the people of Orlu zone”, she concluded.

While interacting with the people of the area Prof. Uwaezuoke disclosed that his interest to run for that exalted position is to give his people sense of belonging with his experience and work ethics from United States of America where he had lived.

He said his administration if elected
shall pay hundred hundred percent (100%) attention to peace and security in Orlu zone, job creation as well as youth empowerment, adding that “Improved educational system, mechanized agricultural revolution are not left out.

Prof. Uwaezuoke further emphasized that his mission is to ensure effective representation, all round accountability and poverty eradication while promoting economic advancements.

In his words, “I have roll my sleeves to ensure peace, security, youths empowerment and economic advancement, as well as address poverty among others if I emerge come 2023 general election”.

Identifiably, Prof Uwaezuoke is from the family of Chief and Lolo Godfrey Uwaezuoke of Umori Eziachi in Orlu LGA of Imo State.

He is happily married with children while urging his team supporters to be focus and not be distracted as he is still in the race.
