Mrs Ugwuoha Bows Out From Service …Advised Staff To Cooperate With Her Successor, Be Diligent in Their Duties
The Covering Duty/Permanent Secretary Ministry of Sanitation and Hygiene, Mrs. Ugwuoha Dorothy has finally bow out from service after completing her 35 years of service.
In her brief “Thank You” Party organized by Mrs. Ugwuoha in her office, she thanked the staff of the Ministry for working well with her throughout her tenure even as CD- Permanent Secretary. She advised them to continue to give their best more especially to the incoming successor. According to her, she said that Ministry of Sanitation and Hygiene is a new ministry carved out by the Governor, therefore the staff of the ministry should do everything possible to make sure that the ministry excels in all their assignments for which the governor created the ministry.
Mrs Ugwuoha however thanked the State Governor, His Excellency, Senator Hope Uzodinma for given her the opportunity to act as the CD- Permanent Secretary which is the desire of every Civil Servant. She prayed God to give the State Governor all he requires to govern the state.
She equally appreciated all the staff of the ministry for working diligently with her and assured them that wherever she goes, that she will continue to remember and pray for them.

In her response, Mrs. Okoro Seconda, who is taking over from her as the CD- Permanent Secretary thanked Mrs. Ugwuoha for working very hard in the ministry and acting as a mother to the staff. She assured her that the staff of the ministry will continue to remember her in her good works while serving in the ministry.
Mrs Okoro vividly noted how she gets information from the government and relates same to all the staff that made the ministry reach the stage of the level the ministry is operating today.
She called on the workers of the ministry to continue to pray for their mother who is retiring from service and for God to guide and protect her new endeavour which they know will be better than where she is now.
The Highlight of the ceremony was the handing over of the office to Mrs. Okoro Seconda who now takes over as CD-PS.
