Mbaitolu/Ikeduru Fed House Member-elect Celebrates Victory, Extends Olive Branch To Opponents
By Onyinyechi Nwankwo…

The Member-elect for Mbaitolu/Ikeduru Federal Constituency, Engr. Akarachi Amadi, has celebrated his electoral victory with special thanksgiving to God Almighty who he praised for making his winning possible.
The youngest Federal Lawmaker-elect in Imo State who invited his constituents, colleagues and friends to a victory thanksgiving service held at St. Michael’s Catholic Parish, Eziama, Ikeduru, on Sunday, expressed profound gratitude to God for being on his side, thanking the people of Mbaike for believing in him to give them quality and fair representation at the Green Chamber of the National Assembly.
Fielding questions from journalists at the victory party, Amadi noted that his victory shows that youths are indeed ready to take over governance as a lot of them are already inspired by his emergence which he said came through an intense contest, encouraging them to always come forward and pursue their dreams, adding that his victory would see that the progress of Mbaike is taken at the forefront in the next four years.
Promising to consolidate the good works he has done so far to move development of his federal constituency to the next level, Amadi called on those who contested with him to accept his olive branch and join him to work for the good and progress of Mbaike.
He reassured his people of good representation in bringing home the dividends of democracy from the National Assembly, saying he is young, but has the energy and the capacity to deliver and serve his people better, propose bills that would affect lives of the people positively.
Amadi frowned at the attitude of most politicians who he mentioned downplay positive achievements of their predecessors, hinting that he would be more friendly while seeking for a proper handover from his predecessor to know his achievements and then be able to advance them, promising that he will engage the people on quarterly constituency briefing in order to understand the needs of his constituents and then work things out for the good and progress of all persons.
Adding his voice, the Sole Administrator of Ikeduru LGA, Rev. Chidi Nwannebu, described Amadi’s victory as deserving, adding that the young politician has won the love of his people through his good works done in the constituency.

Dignitaries who graced the occasion included the past Chairman of APC, Imo State, Prince Macillinus Nlemigbo, the Sole Administrator of Mbaitolu, Hon. Hamilton Chinasa Opara, APC Chairman of Mbaitolu, Hon. Chinonye, Imo House of Assembly Member-elect for Ikeduru State Constituency, Hon John Leoba and High Chief Justin Nwabueze Awurum, Traditional Prime Minister of Amaimo Ancient Kingdom, CEO Okwelle Foundation.
They expressed joy over Amadi’s electoral victory, as they thanked God for giving the federal constituency such a vibrant man, who according to them, would take Mbaike to an enviable height.
