We have Relocated some Flood Victims in the state – Imo Government
Government has described as unfortunate the flood disaster that ravaged the state last Thursday saying it has assessed the magnitude of the devastation and has relocated some of the victims.
Government says it is committed to alleviating the plight of the victims and called on everyone to bear with it as it is doing everything possible to ameliorate the sufferings of the victims in addition to taking steps to find a permanent solution to the problem.
A release from the office of the Secretary to the Government of Imo State requests citizens to clear the gutters and drainages in front of, and around their houses to avoid such situations.
The release states that government will continue to do its best to keep Imo citizens safe and secure.
