IWD: Amb Uju Encourages Women on Home Building

A dogged human rights activist, Ambassador Chika Uju has called on women to continue on their exceptional roles as the home builders as well as pillars of society.
Ambassador Uju stated this while congratulating women on the commemoration of 2024 International Women’s Day.
She said Women are not only the spice of progress and development but the builders and keepers of every society especially starting from the home hence the need to get it right at that level, adding that when every home is good, the society shall be a better place.

The human rights activist further urged women to always shun envy, gossip and all worth not, rather they should support one another in all areas of need as they know better of the expectations and needs of their fellows than any other concerned citizen, so as to take their place in society as home and society builders without borders.
“I encourage them to remain a home builder.
Encourage and support one another”.
“To serve humanity with fear of God and less gossip and character assassination”
The Journalist who had serially served as a woman leader in various capacities in the society charged women to always look after their children, support their husbands as well as family members to ensure there is no resonating problem from the home which affects the general public.
“Always look after their children and support their husband” she concluded.
