Yuletide: Uju Charity and Empowerment Initiative Visits DMM of Mercy Motherless Babies Home, Okwelle Amid Cheers
Frontline humanitarian organization East of the Niger, Uju Charity And Empowerment Initiative, UCEI in her mission to put smiles on the faces of people in society and to bring succour to the downtrodden and the less privileged, recently visited Daughters of Mary Mother of Mercy Motherless Babies Home, Okwelle, Onuimo LGA, Imo State to offer them palliatives and celebrate with them for the Yuletide season.
Presenting the gift items which include sanitary items, bag of rice, and cartons of Noodles among other items, the founder of Uju Charity And Empowerment Initiative, UCEI, Ambassador Chika Uju stressed that the foundation is birthed for pure charity hence it is poised to positively affect lives in society come rain, come sun.

“We are determined to reach people who cannot fend for themselves.
“We decided to share our love and to celebrate with you at the Yuletide”
Amb. Uju added that the UCEI Foundation is not out for personal aggrandizement but committed to do the goodwill of God which involves spreading love and doing charity.
She however promised to periodically include the Orphanage home in the programmes of UCEI going forward, noting that her love for children knows no bounds.
“We will keep coming because we have them at heart and will always find ways to make them happy”, Uju concluded.
Receiving the team and gift items, an Apostolic worker at the Orphanage, Rev. Sister Deborah Chioma expressed joy on the visit and prayed God to continually bless and enlarge the coast of the Founder, members and UCEI at large to do more exploits.
“We thank God for everything and for His infinite mercies in our Orphanage.
“We thank God for making you to remember this home and pray that God provides for you, and continue to guide and protect you all in Jesus’ name, Amen”

Speaking earlier, the Secretary of the Foundation, Hon. Victor Diala intimated the management of the Daughters of Mary Mother of Mercy Motherless Babies Home, Okwelle of the Foundation’s resolve to visit the home having visited other areas in recent times.
Hon. Diala stressed that UCEI has come to stay and will not relent in putting smiles on the faces of the needy in society as he recounts the huge success stories of the newly birthed NGO with a holistic difference.
