Imo SWAN Mourns With NNL Boss George Aluo Over Mother’s Death

The Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Imo State Chapter, has expressed deep sadness over the death of the mother of Nigeria National League (NNL) Chairman and Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Executive Committee member, George Aluo.

In a press statement jointly signed by the Chairman, Cosmos Chukwuemeka, and Secretary, Tunde Liadi, the association described the passing of Ezinne Bernadette Aluo as a painful loss, not only to the Aluo family but also to the Nigerian sports community.

The association extended its heartfelt condolences to George Aluo and his family, praying that God grants them the strength and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

SWAN Imo noted that while the death of a loved one is always painful, the family should take solace in the exemplary life Ezinne Bernadette Aluo lived and the lasting legacy she left behind.
The association also prayed for the peaceful repose of her soul and encouraged the bereaved family to remain steadfast in faith during this difficult period.
