Imo OMPAN Set to Host Bloggers, Social Media Influencers Hangout 7th March 2021
The Online Media Practitioners Association of Nigeria, OMPAN Imo state has concluded plans to hold an all inclusive Bloggers and Social Media Influencers Hangout Sunday March 7, 2021.
The event which is themed “21 Century Blogging, Social Media Influencing and the money path” is geared towards enlightening the general public and media influencers in particular on the good, bad and ugly usage as well as importance of the blogosphere to right the wrongs in society.
According to the leadership of Imo OMPAN, the hangout will go a long way in dissecting the challenges of blogging and influencing as well as harnessing the potentials of online media practitioners in the state in a bid to checkmate citizen journalism which has to a large extent cause the society more harm than good in recent times.

Speaking more on the arrangements, the President of Imo OMPAN, Comrade Ikechukwu Anyanwu said there will be presentations at the Business Opportunity Meeting where high profile speakers including Professor Ngozika Onuegbu, Miss Amarachi Nkwo, Dr Simon Nwanjo of the Century 21 Freedom Group International -a non governmental organization as well as a seasoned blogger Amb. Prince Ukwu will address the audience.
He noted that “the major focus in organizing the workshop,
entrepreneurship mentorship program is to enable interested and eligible individuals to generate cash flow to finance their personal projects and businesses”
