Imo NUJ partners BBYDI for Youth participation in governance process
The Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Imo State Council Monday played host to Brain Builders Youth Development Initiative, BBYD at the press center.
Speaking, the NUJ Chairman, Comrade Ifeanyi Nwanguma, JP welcomed them for coming and noted that the Union is open for partnership that will engender development of the state, adding that the Union is creating awareness around involvement of Youth in governance process of the state.

He posited that the association can always count on the Union for partnership that would add value to the members of the profession.
Earlier, the head of the delegation, Anita Ude-Samson, noted that the essence of the advocacy visit was to let the NUJ know the project that is happening in Imo State. She revealed that the project named YouthGovTracka aims at monitoring youth friendly campaign promises to the extent of fulfillment.
We know that NUJ drives advocacy on social issues, hence the need to partner her to achieve the goal of the project.
She called for appointment of youths in the civic space so that they could speak on issues that concern them.
