Imo Govt Digitalizes Pools Betting and Gaming Commission
Plans are underway to digitalize the Imo Pools Betting and Gaming Commission industry in the state.

The Special Adviser to the Governor on Pools, Betting and Gaming Commission, Chief Sam Ejiogu, disclosed this in a meeting with the staff and management of the Commission.
Chief Ejiogu stated that the digitalization process will commence soon and advised them to be ready for the change from analog way of doing the business to the digitalized and more efficient system.
He urged staff to be more committed in the discharge of their duties in order to achieve the purpose for which the Commission is established.
Speaking, the Director- General, Mr Victor Nwaobia, a seasoned Administrator and expert in the industry noted that the digitalization of the Commission will check financial leakages, reduce illegal operators, tax invasion, creat employment opportunities as well as increased revenue generation for the state. He therefore enjoined the staff to brace up to the new challenge so as to meet the target of the Commission.
In a vote of thanks, the Acting Head of Administration and Finance, Mr Uzoma Anokwute, on behalf of the staff congratulated the Director- General, Mr Victor Nwaobia, on his appointment.
He prayed that God will grant them the wisdom to accomplish the desired results and promised the total support and cooperation of the entire staff.
