Imo Annual Magazine Launches 46th Print, Online Edition

The Publisher and management of Imo state Annual Magazine; a renowned media and historical organization geared towards “recapturing the past for greatness of the state” and society at large on Friday May 6, 2022 launched the 46th Edition of the Magazine as well as first of its kind Online version to incorporate all of its operations.
The event which took place at the Owerri Club, Aladinma Owerri had in attendance the ‘who is who’ in the state and beyond including an Onuimo Elder Stateman and Political bigwig, Chief John Enyogasi (OK 2000), former Imo NUJ Chairman -Chief Fidel Onyeneke, former Commissioner during Ex-governor Sam Mbakwe’s administration -Sir Simeon Udunka among others.
The launching ceremony also featured awards of excellence presented to member representing Okigwe Federal constituency, Hon. Princess Miriam Onuoha for her proactive representation at the National Assembly as well as Traditional Prime Minister of Anara Ancient Kingdom, Chief Duru Mike Ejiogu for his philanthropic gestures in society.
Responding to the honour done her, Hon. Princess Miriam Onuoha who was represented by Mrs. Glory Ify Ibeawuchi alongside Mr Michael Kwenma expressed appreciation for the rare recognition from an Independent and nonpartisan organization and prayed for greater heights of the medium.

Hon. Princess Onuoha pledged her continual support and encouraged the organizers to uphold the feat of recapturing the historical backgrounds of the state and people.
In his response too after receiving the award, the Traditional Prime Minister, Chief Duru Mike Ejiogu who was flanked by the General Manager Imo State Housing Corporation, Hon. Emeka Ibeh said he is overwhelmed by the recognition and promised to keep to the good work and live up to expectations.
Speaking earlier, the former Chairman Imo NUJ who was the magazine reviewer at the occasion, Chief Fidel Onyeneke emphasized that the Magazine is full of historical linings that will fully empower Imo citizens to know the background of Imo and environs for future use.
Chief Onyeneke added that when the people are well equipped with knowledge and right history, it will save the youth some mistakes in society while expressing satisfaction on a job well done by the Publisher and management of Imo Annual Magazine.
Speaking on Hon. Princess Miriam Onuoha’s award, Chief John Enyogasi (OK 2000) commended her for giving Okigwe North Robust Representation and prayed for her re-election in the next election.
Other dignitaries in attendance include the Deputy National President, Okigwe League of Professionals -Dr C.M Anyaeze, Dr. Oliver Amajioyi, H.R.H, Eze Dr Clinton Uboegbulam representing Ndi Owerri zone, Prof.Okereke from FUTO, Dr. Achigbu M.D FMC, Owerri, Eze Prof.Engr.B.A Nwachukwu, former V.C.FUTO, from Mbaise, Prof.Dozie, V.C K.O Mbadiwe University, Ideato.
