Guild of Newspaper Reporters Imo State Chapter Congratulates Newly Elected Chairman of Correspondent Chapel

Guild of Newspaper Reporters Imo
State Chapter has joined friends and well wishers to congratulate Mr. Chinonso Alozie of Vanguard Newspaper on his victory as the Correspondent Chapel Chairman during their election held on Thursday 22nd February 2024 at NUJ secretariat.

In a press release signed by the Chairman of the Guild, Evangelist Chuks Nwokeji, the members expressed optimism that the Mr Alozie would bare his wealth of experience to bring fresh breath in the Chapel as well as attract empowerment of press men in the state, noting that he has been a man of integrity to drive good developments across board.

“We are confident that your emergence as the substantive chairman of the revered chapel will foster unity, growth and empowerment of media practitioners in imo state”

“You have always been a man of credibility, competence with passion for selfless service”

The Imo Guild of Newspaper Reporters while extolling the Chapel Chairman, Mr Alozie, extended goodwill messages to the newly elected Executives of the Chapel urging them to live up to the overall expectations for which they were elected, so as to right past ugly narratives in the Chapel.

“Therefore, we encourage you and your newly elected executives to continue upholding the ethics of the profession as well as adopt policies to carry along every member of the chapel”

The Guild members however prayed for the Correspondents Chapel leadership as they further urged them to work with the Guild and NUJ -the mother body as partners in progress to actualize all developmental plans put in place.

“We also look forward that you will create more working relationship between the Correspondent Chapel, the Guild of Newspaper Reporters and NUJ in general”

“Our prayer is that God almighty will grant you a fruitful and successful tenure that will make positive impact, while supporting the government in their bid to create a better society”
