Former Imo Gov Ohakim Hails Eze Egbukole on Mgbugbuzo/Iri Ji Egbu Festival …Felicitates with Dr Nathaniel Okoro, Others on Awards

Accolades came from Chief Ikedi Ohakim,a former governor of Imo state to the Traditional Ruler of Egbu ancient kingdom, Eze Mitchell Uchenna Egbukole, Ochoromma IV and the good people of the autonomous community on the occasion of Mgbugbuzo/ Iri ji festival which took place in Egbu at the weekend.

Chief Ohakim in his letter to the Egbu monarch stated that the ancient kingdom has ceaselessly grown in lips and bounds and that the reign of Eze Mitchell Uchenna Egbukole has again proven the timeless adage which says that “it takes more than gold braids to make a captain by reason of the commemoration of the ancient festival.

Chief Ohakim, (Ochi na Nwata) further commended Eze Egbukole, by way of confirming his conviction about the leadership qualities of the revered royal father in his message thus’ In deed, it is not the outward symbols of authority that define fine leadership but the courage, charisma and sagacity with which you inspire laudable visions’.

He also expressed his felicitation on the recognition of the great achievers of the kingdom describing one of them, Pa Nathaniel Okoro as a pillar of integrity, a custodian of his values and a source of inspiration to all at 94.

The earstwhile governor of Imo who is being wooed to contest the 2027 Imo governorship election described the recognition of Pa Nathaniel Okoro as a round peg in a round hole and a testament to his exemplary and selfless contribution to his community development.
