Burnt Imo APC Secretariat: Act of Thuggery, Unfaithful and Unpatriotic politicians –CPS Onwuemeodo

Following the setting ablaze of the Imo State Secretariat of All Progressives Congress, APC, located at the State University Junction, Okigwe road Owerri yesterday evening, Friday, May 11, 2018, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Sam Onwuemeodo has blamed the incidence on thugs obviously working for the opponents of the administration.

Mr Onwuemeodo said the hoodlums had hidden under the heavy downpour in Owerri metropolis at that time, to carry out the disdainful act.
He further blamed the whole scenario that characterized the last Saturday, May 5, 2018 APC Ward Congress in the State and the recent unwarranted act at the State party secretariat on entry of unpatriotic politicians into the peaceful Party.

“Obviously their current claims have heavily contradicted their claims on video that Saturday and thereby making it difficult for them to convince their audience that they never stole Sensitive materials for the Ward Congresses in the State,” he continued.
Governor Rochas Okorocha in all his Political life has not been known for Political thuggery or violence.

Meanwhile, the governor has asked the Commissioner of Police in the State to launch full-scale investigation into the incident and ensure that the culprits are apprehended to face the consequences of their aaction…
