Resist the Temptations to Join ill Conceived protest –Imo APC ||| NEWS CORNER

Nigerian youths have been cautioned against joining the proposed End bad government nationwide protest scheduled to start from August 1st.
The All progressives Congress APC Imo state Chairman Sir MacDonald Ebere stated this while briefing newsmen at the party secretariat in Owerri.
He described the protest as ill conceived aimed towards undermining the efforts of the president Bola Tinubu led administration.
According to the state Chairman, the nationwide protest poses a significant threat to the security, economy development and democratic stability of the country. He said amidst the hardships and economic situation been experienced in the country, the federal government has made frantic effort for a sustainable growth of the economy anchored on the renewed hope agenda of administration of president Tinubu
According to him, ” it is truism that sustainable economic development required a long-term approach, focused on building strong institutions, investing in human capital and promoting economic diversification.”
” This is what the president Bola Tinubu administration is doing through its Various initiatives and programmes.
He noted that a sustainable economic development is a gradual process that requires patience.
He said , the protest in the past has been marred with devastating effects and warned against impending dangers if the protesters still go ahead with their plans.
“We must not forget devastating consequences of unrest and protests in our nation’s history. The proposed protest has the potential to lead to chaos, destruction of property and loss of lives”.
” We must not allow our nation to be plunged into choas and instability. We urge Nigerian youths to prioritize peace, security and economic growth over selfish interest”.
He however appeals to the Nigeria youths to engage in a constructive dialogue with the government and other relevant stakeholders to register their grievances and proffer a lasting solution
