Barrister Ebiliegwe, Egwim, Chineme, Njesi Celebrates, Identify Women as Catalysts for National Development

Women have been identified as catalysts for goodness who work absolutely hard to carter for their families, as well as contribute to the economic, social and moral development of society.
The Commissioner for Information, Barrister Emeka Ebiliegwe alongside the member representing Ideato North State Constituency, Hon. Arthur Egwim, the First Lady of Ideato North, Mrs Akunna Njesi, and the SA to the Governor on Trade & Investment, Chief Chineme Iheaku poured out the goodwill messages at the 2019 Imo Women August Meeting championed by Imo First Lady, Ebere Ihedioha, on Tuesday at Uruala, Ideato North local government, Imo State.
P Imo prominent figures while hailing the Imo First Lady for organizing the August Women Meeting, attributed that the measure was germane as such a gathering brings women together to discuss ways forward for the common good of the State.
For the Commissioner for Information, Barr Emeka Ebiliegwe “August Women Meeting is an age- long tradition in Igbo land, that unites mothers to form good decision on how to foster peace, unity and betterment of society.
“The Humility exhibited by Imo First Lady shown she is virtuous, let other mothers emulate her to build their families”.
Just as Hon Arthur Egwim, member representing Ideato North State Constituency, added that August Women Meeting is cherished in Igbo land and charged the women to be role models with good life.
“Let Imo women continue to support the Rebuild Imo Agenda for the good of all imolites”.
While reminding the women of the need to come together as to share ideas to assist in community advancement, the SA to the Governor on Trade & Investment, Sir Chineme Iheaku, mentioned that the wife of the Governor did marvelously to reaching out to the mothers through the meeting which he described as germane.
Praying God to continue to strengthen Imo people to do the right thing in order to progress, First Lady of Ideato North, Mrs Akunna Njesi, appealed to mothers to always care for their families while being submissive to their husbands to live prosperously.
She thanked Imo First Lady for coming to Ideato North.
Highlight of the 2019 Imo Women August Meeting was the empowerment of some women to start up petty trading.
