Barr. Chyma Anthony: A Quintessential Servant leader for Senate Owerri Zone
Barrister Chyma Anthony is the Owerri zone Senatorial Candidate running under the platform of Action Alliance, he is from Umuori, Iho Dimezie in Ikeduru local government area, Owerri, Imo State, a devout Christian, happily married with children, a businessman, a lawyer an international mediator and chartered arbitrator and above all a philanthropist.
While reading out his manifesto during a press briefing in Owerri, Barrister Chyma Anthony disclosed that he firmly believes in the government of the people by the people and for the people and government that believe in the progressiveness of its people.
He maintained “over the next four years, I want to see Owerri zone and Nigeria move forward; forward with sound economic policy that improves our standard of living, forward with public services and rewarding those who work hard while stopping those responsible for corruption/crimes”.
His Manifesto fully includes:

Sponsoring a bill guaranteeing the independence of local councils, so that state executives cannot disband elected local governments, withhold their entitlements nor determine their electoral cycles.

Bringing amendments to the public finance laws to ensure that there is legislation in place safeguarding financial control and management of expenditure

Making strong and credible representation to attract beneficial and growth-inducing federal project to our zone.

Maintaining functional and accessible offices in all nine LGAs of Owerri Zone and disburse 50% of my total allowance across all nine LGAs for the first nine months of my tenure.

Bringing amendments to Energy, security and infrastructure regulations to enshrine transparency and accountability in these sectors.

Bringing amendments to employment laws to provide workers with minimum living wage and protect and guarantee the pension of retirees.

Working with fellow chamber members to bring about favorable bills on education, healthcare and social welfare that deliver the best possible outcomes for our populace within the financial framework of our country.
He adds “I promise to work tirelessly in your best interest to build a consensus of chamber members to deliver these objectives for your well-being and overall benefit of our country.
“Umunnem, a vote for me is a vote for forward movement of our constituency and the nation as a whole”.
