APC Stalwart, Hon. Okereke Congratulates Professor Onyeka On His Emergence As Acting Vice Chancellor, Alvan Ikoku Federal University Of Education Owerri

To give honor to who it is due, the APC loyalist and the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Leader Emeritus, Hon. Comrade Okereke Godson Bishop, has joyously and heartily congratulated Professor Aloysius Chijoke Onyeka, on his emergence as the Acting Vice Chancellor of Alvan Ikoku Federal University of Education Owerri.

Okereke, a committed apostle of the Shared Prosperity Government and a worthy son of Ngor-Okpala LGA and Imo State in general, gave the congratulatory message through a release he signed and made available to the media in Owerri on Tuesday.

In his words, “I, Comrade Okereke Godson Bishop, heartily and joyously appreciate the Federal Government of Nigeria and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR for truly identifying a Cerebral Leader Par Excellence, Professor Aloysius Chijoke Onyeka, who revolutionized the ICT Sector of Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO) during his reign as the Director, FUTO ICT, being the former Deputy Vice Chancellor of KO Mbadiwe University, Ogboko, in Ideato South local government area of Imo State, to be the acting Vice Chancellor of the prestigious

university.

“This Feat is a testament that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a lover of education who is ready and willing to improve academic excellence through appointing quality persons who have the capacity to man the education sector with a view to improving qualitative and affordable education in the country for even development and advancement.

“I am very optimistic that Professor Aloysius Chijoke Onyeka will bring to bear his long aged leadership prowess and capacity to deliver the expected results in the development and growth of the prestigious institution”, Okereke stressed.

Okereke described the academic giant as a worthy son of Okporo in Orlu LGA of Imo State who he added is a renowned Professor of Statistics, with specialty in Statistical Computing and Sample Surveys.

Okereke thus urged the public, staff and students of Alvan Ikoku Federal University of Education Owerri, the State and Zonal leadership of NANS to rally round the Acting Vice Chancellor with the intent of giving him the necessary support and solidarity for effective delivery.
