APC South East National Vice Chairman, Arodiogbu Applauds Uzodimma’s Vigilante Services Organization, Says It Will Strengthen Security in Imo

The All Progressives Congress (APC) National Vice Chairman, South East, Dr. Ijeomah Arodiogbu, has praised Governor Hope Uzodimma for his foresight in establishing and inaugurating Imo State Vigilance Services Organization, a local security outfit.

Arodiogbu gave the appraisal while reacting to the development which he said was needful, germane, plausibly endearing and encouraging.

The Governor, last week, at Rear Admiral Ndubuisi Kanu Square Owerri, officially inaugurated Imo State Vigilance Services Organization with Seven Thousand Membership who cut across communities in the state, saddled with the mandate to curb crimes and criminality and hence strengthen peace, security and development in the state.

Arodiogbu, a fine politician and a renowned health expert, stated that the Governor took a bold and a positive step to have introduced the Vigilante Group which he reiterated would boost peace, security and development in the state.

The philanthropist and an illustrious indigene of the great Arondizuogu in Ideato North Local Government Area, emphasized that the Vigilance Services Organization which was backed by the Imo State Security Organization Amendment Law No. 3 of 2025, would not only secure the communities, but strengthens development in the state.

Describing Governor Hope Uzodimma as a man of wisdom, a democrat, a visionary leader, a peace lover and a great achiever who exudes love and benevolence, the APC Chieftain hinted that his humanly and development-driven policies, physical/road infrastructures and other quality achievements are indeed solidifying development and thereby improving the welfare and wellbeing of the people.

Encouraging the Vigilante to remain proactive and courageous as they discharge their legally assigned duty of protecting residents and visitors of the state, Arodiogbu urged Ezes, Youth Leaders, Presidents- General, other leaders of the community, including religious heads to support the government and the local security outfit in sustaining peace and security to improve development and economic prosperity.

“The Government of Imo State has done noble in setting up the Imo State Security Services Organization which will firmly and significantly add to the peace, security and development of the state.

“The feat by the State Government is apt, germanely okay and a right step in the right direction. Hence, I deeply applaud His Excellency, Governor Hope Uzodimma, for demonstrating love and passion for the progress and success of the state.

“I will always support the Governor as he redefines governance in the state”, he said.
