Alvan Ikeoku College of Education Holds 41st Matriculation

Alvan Ikoku College of Education, AICE, Owerri Imo State on Thursday April 18, 2019 held her 41 matriculation ceremony with a new provost of the institution.
In his speech, the provost of the great citadel of learning, Dr Dan Anyanwu welcome and congratulated the matriculating students for making it to the institution.

Dr. Anyanwu said it is his pleasure to welcome the students ,parents and the members of the staff to the occasion adding that it is his first matriculation ceremony as the substantive provost of the institution.

He adviced the students to work hard and flee from cult activities and from all forms of malpractice, as the school won’t give room for such lawlessness.
The Vice Chancellor of University of Nigeria Nsukka, Professor Benjamin Ozumba who was in attendance at the occasion admonished the degree matriculating students in his lecture to be diligent and take their studies seriously.

The highlight of the event was the uniformed and colourful procession of the school management staff, Dean of Faculties, Head of Departments, Students Union Government Officials and all the matriculated students.
