Achonu Receives ‘Akaomajideaku’ Nzeship Title from Nkwerre Cultural, Traditional Institution

Coronating Sir Stanley Chukwudi Achonu as Nze, Nze UK Mgbeokwere(Omenukoaku), Nze Goddy Agbarakwe( Agbawudikeizu), Nze Humphery Nwosu(Alaogu), Nze Iruolo(Afoaku), Nze Professor Goddy Nkem Onuoha(Ikeoha), noted that Sir Stanley merited the title having met all requirements which qualify him as Nze to the tradition of Nkwerre.

The Nzes who adorned Sir Stanley Chukwudi Achonu the Nzeship title of “Akaomajideaku 1 of Nkwerre” did so in order of seniority in the Nzeship Cultural and Traditional Institution of Nkwerre land and in one accord the four villages: Ukwube, Ukwuinyi, Umukabia and Umunyem that constitute Umuoforolo community of Nkwerre in Nkwerre LGA came together to celebrate as brothers in order to keep their tradition alive with the objective of assisting themselves financially, morally and spiritually.

Commending the Umuoforolo Nkwerre community Nzeship Cultural and Traditional Institution for seeing him qualified and worthy for the Nzeship title conferred on him, Sir Nze Stanley Chukwudi Achonu, promised that he would continue to be humble, helpful and truthful to his people.

Nze Achonu maintained that “Nzeship title is an honorable one because members of the Nze Cultural and Traditional Institution of Nkwerre land are meant to be honest men who always stand for the truth, the oppressed and that is my principle of life and I joined the Nzeship Cultural and Traditional Institution so that I can proceed with the principle of good life”.

Nze Stanley Chukwudi Achonu who is a Knight of St Christopher Church, Nkwerre, added that the Nzeship believes in humanitarian work and so any person who has the opportunity to join is allowed provided he meets requirements, stating that the Nzeship of Nkwerre ancestral land is not occultic neither does it make any unwanted sacrifice or ritual of any sort.

He said he felt honored and humbled being coronated Nze Akaomajideaku 1 of Nkwerre land, thanking God for availing him the chance to receive such an honor from his kinsmen and appreciated those who felicitated with him on the event.

While Nze Stanley Chukwudi Achonu’s wife, Lady (Mrs) Onyekachi Achonu bears ‘Osodieme’ as tradition of the Nzeship Cultural and Traditional Institution of Nkwerre land demands.
