2027: Chima Amadi’s Guber ambition, a reality –DG, TMO …As APC Publicity Secretary, Legal Adviser resign

The gubernatorial ambition of Dr. Chima Amadi in 2027 election is coming to reality.

This is as the State Publicity Secretary of the APC, Imo State, Cajetan Duke and the party’s Legal Adviser, Barr.
Blyden Amajuruonwu, officially resigned from the party.

Their resignation was made public when they addressed members of The Mazi Organization, (TMO), on Friday, in Owerri.

They said their resignation was formed by their careful thoughts to join and align with The Mazi Organization, birthed by Dr. Chima Matthew Amadi, to build environments conducive for real economic growth and prosperity of Imo State for enhanced peace, goodness and development.

“It is with exceptional humility and profound sense of responsibility that I wish to inform this distinguished audience and general public of my decision to resign as the State Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress ( APC), Imo State, effective today Friday, February 14, 2025. This decision was not taken lightly. After careful consideration, I decided to move on to a new challenge that aligns with my values and goals.

“I am grateful for the opportunity to have served the APC Imo State in this capacity and I appreciate the support and trust that the party leadership and members have given me during my tenure. I am proud of the accomplishments we have made together while they lasted.

“As I move on to this new chapter, I am excited to announce that I have accepted the offer to become the official spokesperson of The Mazi Organization, founded by our brother, Dr. Matthew Chima Amadi.

“This new role aligns with my passion for building an environment conducive for real economic growth and prosperity and I am eager to contribute my skills and experience to help advance the organization’s mission and goals.

“I want to assure the members of this great Organization that my new role with The Mazi Organization will not undermine or threaten your efforts for the actualization of our common goal. I have

come to help you promote a brand I know is not only marketable, durable, unique, but consistent with the collective yearnings and aspirations of the greater percentage of our people. I will continue to work tirelessly to promote this interest that has resonated with our great state and its people.

“I thank everyone for their understanding and support during this transition. I am excited about this new chapter and look forward to working with The Mazi Organization to make a positive impact in our communities”, Cajetan Duke affirmed.

With Amajuruonwu who formerly represented Ngor-Okpala State Constituency Imo State House of Assembly under APC reflecting that his major reason for quitting partisan politics was to partner effectively and actively with relevant bodies like The Mazi Organization to impact lives positively in Imo State and across board.

“However, I shall remain committed to supporting any course that shall promote good governance and the well-being of the people of Imo State. In view of this, I have decided to partner with The Mazi Organization, an NGO that is deeply committed to humanitarian services and improving the welfare of the people in the society”, Amajuruonwu stated.

While praising the two political giants for taking the bold step to identify with TMO, the Director General, TMO, Chief Chukwudi Onwukwe (Apiti), said that their actions are justified, showing their unwavering commitment to adding impetus to the redemption of Imo State through The Mazi Organization.

“Your sacrifices for resigning from partisan politics and joining the TMO demonstrate your commitment to ensuring that Dr. Chima Amadi becomes Governor of Imo State and making things work for the good of the people who deserve better living”.

Onwukwe added that the presence of The Mazi Organization is always felt in all parts of Imo State, as it touches lives meaningfully.

“TMO’s presence is felt in all parts of Imo State. TMO is focused to usher Imo State into a better era. Mazi Chima Amadi occupying Douglas House in 2027 is gradually coming to reality”, the DG remarked.
