Young Minds Global Initiative calls for transparency in leadership selection process across political parties in 2027
A global initiative aimed at transforming our nation and the world positively through advocacy known as Young Minds Global Initiative has called on political actors to embrace transparency in the leadership selection processes across all political parties in 2027.
Speaking to Journalists in his office at Owerri on Friday, the National Coordinator, Young Minds Global Initiative, Dr Austin Okoro called on political actors to embrace transparency in selecting who becomes a candidate of any political party, this is to ensure credible leaders are elected into various office in 2027.
Dr Okoro who is a firm believer in credible leadership and accountability noted that the present crops of leaders are not accountable hence the deplorable state of our infrastructures.

“How can a President, Governor, Senator, House of Reps member or House of Assembly member spend four years without tangible dividends of democracy to show for it.
”While the electorates are busy pondering on his failures, he would be busy looking for another tenure and possibly trying to bribe his way through.
”Such behaviours of politicians are condemnable and must be stopped forthwith”, he stated.
The leader and patriot who is an ardent believer of good governance and accountability calls on young minds especially the youths and women to reject peanuts, rice or fake promises from politicians and choose credible leaders who will represent them in 2027.
This according him wil definitely make Nigeria a better place for all of us to live in.
He said, Nigerians have sufferred so much since independence because of bad leadership, leading to the collapse of many infrastructures like roads, electricity, pipe- borne water, schools(education) etcetera.
Young Minds Global Initiative YMGI is calling on Nigerians to insist on good leadership by embracing any good leader that will emerge no matter the political party and vote him in, this coming year to reduce the sufferings of Nigerians.
