By Ikenna Orioha….

Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodimma, has been assessed as a good and democratic leader who has achieved great things for the state.

This assessment was made by the South East APC National Vice Chairman, Dr. Ijeomah Arodiogbu, when he reacted to the Award of Honor on the Governor as the Infrastructure Governor of the Year 2024 by a germane media outfit, Vanguard Newspapers, on Friday.

Arodiogbu who expressed satisfaction over the Prestigious Accolade on the Governor by Vanguard Newspaper, stressed that the Governor merits the Award because he has done a lot of good things in all facets of the state especially on infrastructures such as roads, electricity, water, healthcare, markets, school structures and transportation system.

Arodiogbu who is also the Chairman, Board Management, David Umahi University Teaching Hospital, Ubuhu, Ebonyi State, added that Imo State is wearing fantastic look and advancing greatly due to the massive quality infrastructures especially roads put in place by the APC and the Shared Prosperity Government efficiently manned by Governor Hope Uzodimma who he said is dismantling bad leadership and bridging the barriers of poverty and backwardness or underdevelopment and thereby rekindling respite, goodness, socialization and development in the state.

Arodiogbu, an illustrious indigene of Ndiadimoha, Arondizuogu, Ideato North LGA, Imo State and a chieftain of APC, emphasized that business activities are thriving and booming in Imo given largely to the quality roads, culvets or drainages and bridges constructed and rehabilitated in all strata of Imo State, including the relative peace and orderliness, social development and economic prosperity existing therein.

“The road infrastructures put in place in several places in Imo State by the APC and the 3R government are countless, giving rise to boom in productivity, resourcefulness and commercial activities. The local, national and international traders or entrepreneurs are also coming into Imo State for tourism, hospitality, business and investment.

“The proposed dredging of Oguta/Urashi River Project to link the Atlantic Ocean and the construction of Flyover at Control Post Owerri, the Urban Renewal or the Balloon Technology Policy including the already refurbished Imo International Cargo Airport, among others, by the 3R administration, are no mean feats and added advantage to the state and the people.

“Today, unlike in the past, the Owerri/Orlu, Owerri/Okigwe, Owerri/Mbaise and Umuahia Express Roads are no longer nightmares to road users, as they have been beautifully dualized. Farmers now are freely and smoothly conveying their produce to markets and outside the state, just as motorists no longer frequent the mechanics for repairing of their vehicles or motorcycles thereby saving costs.

“Airliters can now easily and freely take off or land at the Imo Airport at night, this is because facilities at the Airport are state-of-the-art. This milestone by Governor Hope Uzodimma thrills passengers and gives them courage to take off and fly into the state when necessary”.

“While thanking Vanguard Newspaper for finding the Governor worthy of the Award of Honor as Infrastructure Governor of the Year 2024, I once again congratulate the Governor of meriting the Accolade, praying to God to continue to sustain him as he edifies the state through good governance and purposeful leadership”, Arodiogbu maintained.
