UCL: Onyekuru Proud Of Galatasary Showing In Defeat To Porto Targets Europa League Success.
Super Eagles forward, Henry Onyekuru is happy with his Turkish side, Galatasary’s performance despite their 3-2 home defeat to Portuguese outfit, FC Porto in their Champions League Group D clash on Tuesday, mynewsconer.com reports.

The Turkish champions were in the hunt for a Europa League ticket in Group D along with Russian side, Locomotiv Moscow.
The Russians’ 1-0 home defeat against Schalk 04 however ensured Galatasary pick the ticket and will now hope to do well in the Europa League following their exit from the Champions League.
” Of course we wanted to win. We didn’t want to lose our last match in the Champions League. On the other hand, our performance today and the fight we showed until the last-minute made me happy,” Onyekuru stated after the game.
“We had some luck, we couldn’t evaluate some positions and we made simple mistakes. We will try to correct our mistakes by working with our coach on these shortcomings.
“We want to represent our club in the UEFA Europa League in the best way by working on the mistakes we have made in the Champions League.”
