Chelsea Star Cesc Fabregas Makes Shock Eden Hazard Revelation – ‘He Doesn’t Talk’
CHELSEA midfielder Cesc Fabregas has revealed that team-mate Eden Hazard “doesn’t talk” off the pitch.
The Belgian star has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge this season as he stalls on signing a new long-term contract.
After the summer’s World Cup, where
Hazard captained his nation to third, the forward spoke coyly about his future in west London.
Since then, the 27-year-old has drip-fed conflicting remarks throughout the season.
In October, Hazard expressed his desire to play in Spain, saying: “Real Madrid is the best club in the world. I don’t want to lie today.
“It is my dream since I was a kid. I was dreaming about this club. We will see. I don’t want to talk about this every day.” But then as recent as Boxing Day, the diminutive attacker waxed lyrical about his hope to become a club legend at Chelsea .
Hazard went some way to doing that by scoring his 100th and 101st goals for the club against Watford last time out, running to out-of-favour team-mate Fabregas after reaching the feat.
The Spaniard has revealed intriguing insight into Hazard’s exterior off the pitch, however.

Speaking to the Chelsea website , Fabregas said: “With Eden, one thing I can say is that outside of the pitch, if I was a coach, I would never give him the armband.
“He is very quiet – he doesn’t talk or get involved in many things.”
The comments are a surprise considering the confidence with which Hazard conducts himself in interviews, and raise suspicions about his current happiness in London.
Hazard’s timid persona beyond the touchlines is a far cry from his leadership come matchday, though, Fabregas explains.
“But on the pitch, I could give him the armband,” the 31-year-old added.
“He is a leader: he always wants the ball, he always wants to make things happen.
“Yes, sometimes it doesn’t come off, this is the Premier League, a tough league, but he always tries. For every team he plays for, Belgium or Chelsea, he is a very important player.”
