Real Madrid close to signing Palacious
Real Madrid is close to the signing of Argentine sensational Exequiel Palacios from River Plate after he demonstrated a good show for his club during the last season and in the Copa Libertadores.
Real Madrid has been monitoring the player for the past seasons and his agent has revealed that the deal is in the advanced stage following Real Madrid directors are willing to let the midfielder see the season out with River Plate.
“River’s leaders met Real Madrid’s in Abu Dhabi,” he told Radio Rivadavia.
“In the next few days, a formal offer will be presented. The deal is at quite an advanced stage.
“Exequiel, his family and I want him to leave in June. Real Madrid has no problem with him staying at River for now.
“Everything was delayed a bit with the twists and turns of the Copa Libertadores Final.
“Certainly if the Final had been played like it was supposed to, then the deal would’ve gone through sooner.
