Ramos calls for closed door meeting with Real Madrid players
Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos has called for a closed-door meeting with Los Blancos players after their poor performance against Villarreal and Real Sociedad respectively in the La Liga.
Ramos believes it is time for self-critical and he is of the view that something positive could be resulted to in a bid to solve Real Madrid current crisis.
“It is not the day to point fingers at anyone,” Ramos said. “Although there is always self-criticism.
“Tomorrow there will be some straight talking, face-to-face because out of problems come opportunities. It will happen behind closed doors and what is said will not come out. There is still a lot of the season left, although we have dropped three very important points.”
Real Madrid will entertain Leganes in the Copa del Rey at the Santiago Bernabeu in their next game on Wednesday.
