Philanthropist, Barrister Njoku Donates Solar Street Lights To All Traditional Rulers in Mbaise

A philanthropist, Barrister Emma Njoku has procured solar Street lights to be distributed to all the traditional rulers in mbaise, Imo State.

Barrister Njoku extended the gesture to the Mbaise Royal Fathers through his Traditional ruler, Eze Leo Nwokocha.

Eze Nwokacho who is the chairman Mbaise council of Traditional rulers announced this at the end of their executive meeting in his palace at Umunneato Eziala Nguru Autonomous Community, Aboh Mbaise LGA.

According to him, there are over Ninety three Traditional rulers in Mbaise and they have Concluded arrangements with the Engineers who will go to the palaces of the traditional rulers to install the lights.


Eze Nwokocha commended the donor Barrister Emma Njoku for showing care and respect to the traditional institution; considering the importance of light to human existence.

He however advocated a reciprocal love between traditional rulers and their subjects for a peaceful society.

On his part the secretary of the mbaise council of traditional rulers, Eze Mike Nwamara expressed, appreciation to Barrister Emma Njoku for embarking on other developmental projects like road rehabilitation to alleviate the suffering of Mbaise People.

Eze Nwamara who observed that Barrister Emma Njoku is not a politician, urged other financially-well-to-do individuals to emulate his philanthropic posture to lift Mbaise to greater heights.
